The book that evolves around the story of Mira dealing with her father’s death contains parts about love, grief, and art, the overlapping of souls, and the creation of the world.

Nachdem ich mich ein wenig mehr mit zeitgenössischer Literatur beschäftigt habe, habe ich nun den Erzählband „Entkommen“ und den Roman „Flexen in Miami“ von Joshua Groß gelesen, die auf eine humoristische und extravagante Weise Szenen der postmodernen Popkultur zeichnen.

patriarchy and capitalism, which I was really looking forward to. I had extremely high expectations, as some of my friends with whom I usually share similar opinions on books have recommended the book to me.

this is a contemporary romance novel (a genre I’m not usually fond of), set in modern New York City which I’d rather recommend reading for the characters and their development than for the plot.
